4 Websites Digital Nomads Need To Utilize
As a digital nomad, I often find myself working in coffee shops, friends’ backyards, and on the road. This means that I need to be able to minimize the number of programs I’m using but still maximize my productivity and content quality. I’ve narrows down the list of websites I use based on their ability to help me keep up with my workload. Here are my top four picks:
I am not a graphic designer. This is not a false humblebrag masquerading as an honest admission — I truly am not a graphic designer. I cannot use photoshop or illustrator to save my life, and the thought of having to design something from scratch absolutely terrifies me. Although I am certainly learning the basics of graphic design.
So you can imagine my relief when I found Canva. Canva is a lifesaver for someone like me who needs to quickly create professional-looking designs but doesn’t have the time or skills to do so manually. With a few simple clicks, I can create beautiful designs that wouldn’t look out of place in a high-end studio. And best of all, it’s free!* So if you’re like me and graphic design is not your forte, never fear — Canva is here to save the day.
*You can also pay for a premium version which costs $12.99/month
As a content creator, I know the importance of staying organized and always being one step ahead. That’s why I love Heropost. With Heropost, I can add as many accounts as I want and group them all together. So if I have four clients who all want a month’s worth of content, it’s no problem. Plus, I can schedule everything in advance, so I never have to worry about missing a deadline. And because I paid for a lifelong membership, I don’t have to worry about ever having to pay again.
Heropost is truly an underrated tool for content creators and digital nomads — and it’s totally affordable. If you’re not using Heropost, you’re seriously missing out!
I remember the first time I came across Notion. I was looking for a way to organize my ideas and content, and someone recommended this platform. I was skeptical at first, but after using it for a while, I quickly realized that it was exactly what I needed. Not only is it easy to use, but it also has a ton of features that make it perfect for organizing everything. From ideas and content to invoices and even files, I have everything I need in my Notion.
Over the years, I’ve tried to switch to newer platforms but none of them have been able to live up to Notion’s standards. That’s why I continue to use this platform today and why I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a way to organize their thoughts and ideas. Thanks, Notion!
I can’t remember when exactly I started using YouTube but I do remember that it was a very different place back then. For starters, there were no recommended videos or algorithm telling me what to watch next. I had to actually scroll through the entire site to find something that caught my eye. But that was half the fun, in a way. YouTube was this mysterious world of videos waiting to be discovered. And discovery was key because, unlike today, there weren’t a lot of people making videos. So, if you found a good one, it felt like you had struck gold.
Of course, YouTube has come a long way since then. It’s become more polished and professional, for better or for worse. But despite all the changes, one thing has remained the same: YouTube is still an amazing place to learn new things. Whether I want to learn how to cook a new dish or figure out how to fix my car, there’s always someone on YouTube who can teach me what I need to know. And that’s why, even after all these years, I’m still a big fan of YouTube.
YouTube also doubles as a great place to post content so it’s really a win win!
