2024: The Game Plan
With the new year coming fast, I took time to reflect on this past year and write some goals for 2024. If you’re interested in my recap, read it here. I’m not hopping on the “new year, new me” trend, but I have some goals to improve my daily life.
Let’s get into it.
Goal 1: Keep writing
This goal may seem simple, but it comes with some sub-goals. I want to publish every single day, that’s 365 articles in 2024! In this last year, I only wrote 55.
Another part of this goal is to write more for myself rather than what is trending or something that will get views. This is not for the views or clicks; this is for me.
Goal 2: Learn
I want to expand my knowledge base. A personal lifetime goal of mine is to be well-read, knowledgeable, and well-spoken. I said this in my previous article, but I have to be a lifetime learner to achieve that.
I will continue to have a Skillshare membership, but I need more discipline to finish classes. I am setting a goal to complete a single class every two weeks.
The value of this is indescribable, and I will learn more skills. It will also broaden my horizons and improve my writing.
Goal 3: Maintain A Gym Schedule
Going to the gym helps me sleep better, gives me more energy daily, and gives me a mental break.
I’ve established a solid routine, going to the gym three times a week. However, I aspire to elevate this commitment from making three to five visits to a consistent habit. I recognize the immense value it adds to my overall well-being and am determined to expand this.
It’s important for me to make my goals reachable and maintainable. I encourage everyone to do the same. It doesn’t work if you make multiple huge goals because you’ll never maintain them. So, these goals will give me a great start in 2024.
